ORIGIN: Found in Hainan China in forests on tree and on rocks along streamsides at elevations around 700 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with clustered, unbranched stems with reddish brown, ovate to ovate-lanceolate basal sheaths and carrying a linear-oblanceolate, articulate, unequally bilobed apically to sometimes unlobed, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a terminal, usually single floweed inflorescence with persistent, amplexicaul basally, scarious floral bracts and carrying a fragrant flower.
