ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Guangdong province of China, Hong Kong and Vietnam in shady forests at elevations around 300 to 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with ovoid-cylindrical, 4 noded pseudobulbs enveloped by several, large, membraneous sheaths and carrying 2 to 4, broadly obovate-elliptic, plicate, 3 veined, acuminate to acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate-like base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, fleshy, 4 to 6 [10 to 15 cm] long, densely 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with several scale like sheaths at the base and oblong-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers.
