ORIGIN: Found in the southeast Atlantic forest of Brazil at elevations of 700 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, mat forming, creeping, warm to cool growing epiphyte in shady and humid locations with erect, succulent, closely set, short stemmed, channeled, gradually narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms on a short inflorescence that arises from the rhizome and occurs in the late winter and early spring. This species is best handled by mounting on tree fern to accomodate the creeping growth habit..
