DESCRIPTION: Lithophyte between rocks where its roots can reach some humidity, and sometimes as an epiphyte, always under full sun, in warm areas of the States of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. It blooms during the spring, flowers are long lasting (more than a month), with about 8 each inflorescence. The flowers are 4 mm wide and 8 long and remain almost closed. The erect inflorescence is about 6 cm long and its top is at the same height the leaves. The leaves are terete 8 cm high and 1.5 of diameter and may be dark green or get a little bit purple when under full sun. This plant likes dry areas of the greenhouse with lots of sun and heat. Very good drainage. Water after one of two days when the substrate is dry. Besides that its not hard to grow.
