ORIGIN: Found in Ecuador as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte at elevations of 1500 to 2900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found in Ecuador as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte at elevations of 1500 to 2900 meters with slender, suberect ramicauls enveloped below the middle by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, spreading, rigidly coriaceous, oblong-ovate, obtuse to acute, shortly acuminate, sessile and cordatre at the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a short, arising from a reclining spathe, to .2 [5mm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence with the peduncle enveloped by the spathe..
