ORIGIN: Found in Narino Colombia and Manabi Ecuador at elevations of 500 to 2300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath below the middle and another 2 to 3 at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, broadly elliptical, obtuse to rounded apically, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer and fall on 1 to 2, loose, subsecund, 4.4 to 7.2 [11 to 18 cm] long including the 2 [5 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously several to many flowered inflorescence, arising through a spathe from an annulus below the apex of the ramicaul.
