ORIGIN: Found in Ecuador in colud forests at elevations of 2400 to 3400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing repent epiphyte with well spaced ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coricaeous, elliptical, acute to subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a suberect, 2.8 [7 cm] long, loose, successively several flowered inflorescence arising from high on the ramicaul and has an oblique acute floral bract.
