Orchid Species: Bolusiella talbotii
(This name is currently accepted by Kew.)
Bolusiella talbotii is an orchid species identified by (Rendle) Summerh. in J.Hutchinson & J.M.Dalziel in 1936.
ORIGIN: Found in the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Togo in forests and coffee plantations on twigs and small branches at elevations of 900 to 1350 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying up to 12, fleshy, sword-shaped, acute leaves that are held in a fan-shape and blooms in the fall through spring on 4 [10 cm] long, somewhat laxly several flowered inflorescence with simultaneously opening flowers.
FLOWER SIZE: 1/4 inch [8 mm]
