DESCRIPTION: Small to giant sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial orchid with a thick, fleshy tuber giving rise to an erect stem carrying numerous, lanceolate, acuminate, decreasing in size ascending the stem and becoming bract-like leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a subdensely many flowered, to 14 [35 cm] long, racemose inflorescence.
