ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands at elevations around 1800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm growing epiphyte with 6 to 8 [15 to 20 cm] between each cylindrical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect to suberect, oliquely ligulate, obtuse, narrowly subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a graceful, erect, to 10 [to 25 cm] long, laxly 2 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
