ORIGIN: Found in Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Cameroons, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, The Gulf Of Guinea Islands, Rwanda, Zaire, Tanzania, Uganda, Angola, Zambia and Malawi in woodland, lowland, submontane and montane forests at elevations of 650 to 2300 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte and occasional lithophyte with with 1/4 to 1.6 [.7 to 4 cm] between each ovoid to ellipsoid, often obscurely 4 angled, light green pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, elliptic, pale green, stiff, coriaceous leaves that blooms winter and spring on an erect, 3.2 to 4 [8 to 10 cm] long, widening towards the apex, 10 to many flowered inflorescence with the flowers appearing out of the rachis much more than in B fuscum.
