ORIGIN: Found in Papua New Guinea in humus in montane forests at elevations around 50 to 200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with close set, small pseudobulbsa carrying 5 to 8, plicate, many nerved, oblong-lanceolate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate basae leaves that blooms in the late spring through fall on an elongate, peduncle terete, rachis to 12 [30 cm] long, overall to 44 [110 cm] long, moderately densely many flowered inflorescence with persistent, ovate-oblong floral bracts and carrying spreading, successively opening flowers.
