DESCRIPTION: A medium sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters with pendulous, cylindric, slender, slightly fleshy, subbranched, many noded stems carrying narrowly ovate-lanceolate, leathery, clasping sheath base, long acuminate leaves where it blooms in the late winter and spring with an erect to spreading, 12 to 13 [30 to 32.5 cm] long, many [12 to 18] flowered inflorescence with long-lived, fleshy, fragrant flowers arising from the nodes near the apex of leafless, to 3' [1m] long, canes.
