ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea on trees in forests.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to close set, conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, glabrous, ligulate, obtuse to subobtuse, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a basal, filiform, erect, 3.2 tpo 4 [8 to 109 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
