DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, hot to cold growing terrestrial or lithophytic orchid on highly eroded, stratified limestone cliffs and bluffs with horizontal rhizomes gibving rise to rather thin, short stems, each bearing 3 to 5, broadly lanceolate, acuminate and acute, leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, 4 to 12 [10 to 30 cm] long, several to many [30] flowered inflorescence with lanceolate acute floral bracts.
