ORIGIN: Found in central Madagascar in peat bogs at elevations of 1400 to 2300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, radical, linear-lanceolate, short leaves that blooms in the later spring on a terminal, erect, thin, to 2 [5 cm] long, loosely several flowered inflorescence with 1 to 2 distant sheaths and 1/2 the length of the ovary floral bracts.
