ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea in lowland rainforests at elevations of sea-level to 350 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with reclining to pendulous, branching stems enveloped completely by leaf sheaths and carrying many, bilaterally flattened, imbricate, obliquely lanceolate, acute, thickly coriaceous leaves that blooms at any time of the year on a lateral, from the leaf axils, short, mostly single flowered inflorescence with imbricate bracts and ovate, longer than the ovary, acuminate floral bracts.
