DESCRIPTION: Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, and the Molucca Islands in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 400 to 1600 meters with curved, unbranched, leafy stems carrying, many, lanceolate, imbricating, spreading leaves that blooms on a very short inflorescence with a single, tiny, fan-shaped flower arising from the bases of the numerous imbricate leaves occurring in the summer to winter.
