Orchid Species: Dendrobium reflexitepalum

Dendrobium reflexitepalum is an orchid species identified by J.J.Sm. in 1921.
ORIGIN: Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect in youth becoming pendulous with age stems which are leafy below and leafless above, and carrying ovate, acute, imbricate leaves that blooms in the fall, winter and early spring on young stems from the apice and on older plants from along the leafless apical portion with single flowered, short inflorescence.
