ORIGIN: Found in Sabah Borneo in hill and lower montane mossy ridge forests on sandstone and shale in thick moss on tree trunls and branches at elevations around 900 to 1600 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with narrowly fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped by pale brown, darker brown mottled fibrous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptic to ligulate=elliptic, obtuse, mucronate, thin textured, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall and spring on an erect, peduncle 3.6 to 6.4 [9 to 16 cm] long, naked, terete, pale green, rachis 4 to 5.2 [10 to 13 cm] long, quadrangular, yellowish, 2 ranked, densely to 50 flowered inflorescence with ovate-oblong, obtuse, concave, involute, prominently nerved, brown floral bracts and carrying sweetly scented flowers.
