ORIGIN: Found in Sabah Borneo in open, low, dry, stunted forestsand in very low, open podosol forests at elevations around 1300 to 1450 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid to elliptic to oblong-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, very minutely black punctate-ramentaceous, particularly on the lower surface, narrowly elliptic, obtuse, minutely mucronate, margin minutely papillose, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect then arching, peduncle .5 to .8 [1.2 to 2 cm] long, filiform, rachis .6 to 1 [1.5 to 2.5 cm] long, quadrangular, sparsely ramentaceous, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence with oblong-elliptic, acute, concave, sparsely ramentaceous, floral bracts.
