ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Java and Sumatra in forests on tree trunks at elevations around 800 to 1000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm growing epiphyte with branched, terete, erect stems carrying, at 1 to 3 [2.5 to 7.5 cm] intervals, yellowish, not flattened, elliptic, tapering towards the apex pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly lanceolate, thick, apically bilobed, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence arising abaxially from a depression in the apical portion of the pseudobulb close to he leaf base witch has a single bract.
