ORIGIN: Found in southeastern Brazil at elevations of 500 to 700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping, woody rhizome with .64 [1.6 cm] in between each, cone-like, vertically ridged with age, green tinted with light yellow pseudobulbs carryinjg a single, apical, erect, stiff, leathery, keeled, acute leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, thin, wiry, horizontal, 6.8 [17 cm] long, overall, rachis abruptly curiing downwards, to 2.8 [7 cm] long, to 6 flowered inflorescence carrying alternate, sequential flowers.
