ORIGIN: Found in Burundi, Zaire, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe in woodlands and secondary montane grasslands in full sun at elevations of 1000 to 2300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 1 to 4, erect, conduplicate, elliptic to oblanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on an erect, terminal, to 6 to 10 [to 15 to 25 cm] long, laxly 15 to 30 flowered inflorescence.
