ORIGIN: Found in southeastern Brazil on trees and rocks in cloud forests at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool growing with elongate, ovoid, compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, strap-shaped leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a terminal, erect, fleshy, 4 to 4.8 [10 to 12 cm] long, 6 to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
