ORIGIN: Found in the Bahamas at the base of small trees but occasionaly arise lithophytically on the limestone rocks below at elevations of 0 to 30 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with crowded oblong-conical pseudobulbs subtended by a few scarious sheaths and carrying 1 to 3, apical, suberect, coriaceous, rigid, linear to linaer-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, slender, distally several bracted peduncle, paniculate, to 28 [70 cm] long overall, laxly many flowered inflorescence carrying, fragrant showy flowers.
