ORIGIN: Found in Colombia at elevations around 400 to 1150 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with simple, cane-like, terete, erect stems carrying about 23, all along the apical half of the stem, alternate, articulate, basal leaves deciduous, narrowly elliptic, acute, subcoriaceous, margin entire leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal or lateral, erect, peduncle .4 to .8 [1 to 2 cm] long, provided with a single, cucullate, acute bract, terete, thin, short, 1.2 to 2.8 [3 to 7 cm] long overall, racemose, lax, simultaneously 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary, cucullate to widely triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying resupinate flowers with the sepals and petals olive green, the lip and column white, slightly tinged with lilac and a yellow callus.
