DESCRIPTION: Collection # nb761, it was collected in the Mexican State of Nayarit at 1465m, about 35 km east of Haujicori, it was epiphytic on oaks along a stream. I gave Dale Borders a division of the plant in 1986. In the note from Eric Hagsater, who Identified the plant, he says Please note that Encyclia huejuquillensis Rdz. is as yet unpublished and we are waiting only to have a good type specimen from the collection by Rodriguez to proceed to publication. This was over 10 years ago, so I don't know if it has yet been published. Thanks to Noble Bashor for the narrative.
