ORIGIN: This small sized, cool growing epiphytic species is found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters on the Pacific slope.

DESCRIPTION: This small sized, cool growing epiphytic species is found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters on the Pacific slope with cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, ligulate, acute, coriaceous leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on a terminal, erect to gracefully arching, short to 6 [to 15 cm] overall, rachis to 3.6 to 4.4 [9 to 11 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence arising on a new growth with fragrant, long-lived flowers.
