DESCRIPTION: Small to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, flexuous densely leafy stem carrying alternate, ovate-lanceolate, acute, papery, sessile leaves that are basally clasping that blooms on an arching, terminal, 8 to 14 [20 to 35 cm] long, minutely pubescent, densely many flowered inflorescence with nodding flowers arising in the late winter and spring.
