ORIGIN: Found in Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Cambodia, Sumatra, Borneo and the Philippines from montane forests and in lowlands at elevations of 1300 to 2500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with tall, thick, cylindrical stems carrying a few to 4, apical, lanceolate to strap-shaped, thin but tough, gradually narrowing below into the indistinct petiolate base leaves that can bloom at most any time but mostly in the summer with several, to 7.2 [18 cm] long, racemose, arching, densely many flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the stem.
