ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea, Sulawesi and the Solomon Islands in forests at elevations around 120 to 1400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, erect to sprawling, soft, thick, fleshy, green often streaked with brown stems enveloped in youth by rather loose, silver to brown tubular, overlapping sheaths and carrying 2 to 4, in a loose fan at the stem apex, lanceolate, thin, tapering to an acute apex leaves that blooms in the spring summer and fall on 1 to 4, on upper stems amongst leaves, suberect to arching, hairless, 2 to 4 [5 to 10 cm] long, to loosely 30 flowered inflorescence.
