ORIGIN: Found in Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, Surinam, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina in lower montane forests at elevations around 140 to 1200 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature to medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial orchid with a stout, glabrous, pinky brown with pale flecked stem carrying towards the apex only, medium green with slight velvety sheen above, paler and dull below, sucate mid nerve, fleshily ribbed, elliptic, undulate margins, acute, basally clasping leves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, short, racemose, pinky green, pubescent, several flowered inflorescence.
