Gastrochilus fuscopunctatus is an orchid species identified by (Hayata) Hayata in 1917.
ORIGIN: Found in Taiwan near Mt Arisan in dense forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1000 to 2500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool to cold growing, clump forming epiphyte with gray green, narrowly oblong leaves spotted in purple and kinky roots arising from the leaf axils that blooms in the winter through mid summer on an axillary, short, few flowered inflorescence that can arise at any time.
FLOWER SIZE: 0.37 inches [9 mm]
