Grastidium sacculiferum is an orchid species identified by (J.J.Sm.) Rauschert in 1983. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Dendrobium sacculiferum.
ORIGIN: Found on Ternate Island within the Moluccas Islands of Indonesia without elevational data.
DESCRIPTION: Large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, shiny, dark green, flattened, unbranching stems carrying many linear, basally twisted, shiny green, conduplicate, bidentate apically leaves that blooms on short, pale green, 2 flowered inflorescence carrying vanilla scented flowers with the tepals white with yellow apices and a greenish white lip with yellow brown markings.
