ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea on trees and bushes in hill country and mist forests at elevations 1500 to 2500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a creeping, repent, frequently branching rhizome with .4 [1 cm] between each globose to ovoid, faintly shallowly ribbed pseudobulb enveloped below by a pair of imbricate, reddish brown, papery sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect to spreading, leathery, rigid, ovate, obtuse, sessile or subpetiolate base leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on an erect, very short, slender, single flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers.
