ORIGIN: Found in Burundi, Rwanda, Zaire, Tanzania, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cape Province, Natal, Swaziland, and Transvaal South Africa in marshy areas on sandflats in full sun at elevations of sea-level to 200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool growing terrestrial that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, to 20 [50 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
