ORIGIN: Found in Choco and Risaralda Colombia at elevations around 2150 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing epiphyte with stout, thick, erect ramicauls enveloped by 12 to 15, coarsely ciliate lepanthiform sheaths with oblique ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-ovate, acute, acuminate, cuneate and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a filiform, lax below congested above, distichous to subsecund, .8 to 1.2 [2 to 3 cm] long including the peduncle, successively several flowered inflorescence arising on the back of the leaf.
