ORIGIN: Found in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia where it grows in closed coastal scrublands, heathlands, woodlands, heathy woodlands and open forests on well drained soils at elevations of sea level to 400 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized terrestrial orchid with a short stem carrying a single, bright green, prostrate, elliptic, obtuse leaf with a small bract at the base that blooms in the late winter and spring on and erect, wiry, pilose, 10 [25 cm] tall, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence and blooms best after a fire.
