DESCRIPTION: A medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte in lowland forests at elevations of sea-level to 1000 meters with clustered, ovoid to ellipsoid, compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, linear-oblanceolate, acute to obtuse, conduplicate below into the base leaves and blooms on an erect, wiry, 1 1/2' [45 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence that has inflated, tubular bracts, and arising on a mature pseudobulb where it holds the flower at mid-leaf, occurring most in the late winter through summer although they are possible at any time of the year.
