ORIGIN: Found in Java and Sulawesi in the dense understory of montane forests at elevations of 1900 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .32 to 1.52 [.8 to 3.8 cm] between each, distinct, obliquely erect, ovoid, grooved pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to obovate, acute-mucronate, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, .6 to .8 [1.5 to 2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with acute floral bracts.
