ORIGIN: Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a short rhizome giving rise to a very short, somewhat thick stem carrying 3 to 4, erect-patent to suberect, elliptic, acute, glabrous, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a strict, thin, subangled, glabrous, to 2.6 [6.5 cm] long, laxly 4 to 17 flowered inflorescence with deflexed, lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bract.
