ORIGIN: Found as a medium to large sized miniature, warm to cool growing epiphyte in southern Brazil at elevations around 670 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found as a medium to large sized miniature, warm to cool growing epiphyte in southern Brazil at elevations around 670 to 1500 meters with erect to ascending, stout ramicauls enveloped basally by 4 to 7 tubular, hispidous sheaths and carries a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptic-ovate, acute leaf that is cuneate below into the subpetiolate base that blooms in the spring on a fascile of single, successive flowers arising at the apex of the ramicaul with slightly pubescent peduncles and floral bracts.
