ORIGIN: Found in Benguet Island of the Philippines at elevations near 1580 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a leafy stem completely enveloped by imbricating leaf sheath bases and carrying nearly pendulous, sword-shaped, thick conduplicate, acute, tapering to a point, very flexible leaves that blooms on an elongate, many flowered inflorescence carrying the flowers in tight whorls.
