ORIGIN: The species hails from Venezuela and Colombia at elevations of 2150 to 3500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cold growing epiphyte with ovate pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several sheaths and carrying a single, linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, to 28 [70 cm] long, paniculate, each branch 4 [10 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
