ORIGIN: Found in the eastern coastal forests of Madagascar at elevations of sea-level to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate stem carrying sparse, distant, oval-oblong or elliptical leaves that are somewhat attenuate to the sheath that blooms in the fall on a 12 to 14 [30 to 35 cm] long, loosely many flowered inflorescence.
