ORIGIN: Found in the Philippines at elevations up to 600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large to giant sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with tapering pseudobulbs carrying elliptic, acuminate, plicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 3' 5.2 [1.3 meters] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence with a large floral bract behind each nodding flowers that do not open well.
