ORIGIN: Found in Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and northern Argentina in rain or cloud forests at elevations of 400 to 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with sometimes white variegated green, reticulated, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer to early fall on a terminal, erect, 8 [20 cm] long, fairly dense, several to many flowered inflorescence.
