ORIGIN: Found in Narino Colombia at elevations around 1500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect, terete ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath near the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, horizontal, narrowly ovate, acute, cordate, sessile leaf that blooms in the spring on a successive single flowered inflorescence arising from the base of the leaf through a reclining spathe.
