ORIGIN: Found in Guerrero and Oaxaca states of Mexico and Belize at elevations around 1700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool-growing epiphyte with stout, erect ramicauls enveloped by 4 to 6, hispidulous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the conduplicate, subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a fascile of .05 to .1 [1 to 2 mm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence arising at the apex of the ramicaul and has sparsely pubescent floral bracts.
